DH left town for work yesterday and so of course it decided to snow 5 inches over night and is still snowing. I was up around 7 and decided to eat breakfast before going out to shovel. We live in a downtown area and have to shovel fairly early when it does snow. When I was finally ready to go out around 8, my neighbor had already done it all! I wanted to cry. I am pretty sure they don't know I am pregnant but they do know I am home alone because DH's work truck has been gone since yesterday. I feel like I should do something nice for them but not quite sure what. Is a thank you card enough?
Just a thank you is fine. My H does this all the time because he's pretty much the only person on our street with a snowblower. We've gotten homemade bread and gift cards as well as just a wave and a thanks.

DH does our neighbors with our blower, and expects nothing in return. It's just what neighbors do. He and one of the other guys with an ATV and blade take care of several of the houses on our cul de sac, and they clear a strip up the hill to get out as we don't see a plow for a couple of days usually.
One neighbor did bring a plate of cookies over once which was very nice but really, it's just what neighbors do.
