Need gift idea for niece

She will be 4 months.  I was thinking something special and keepsake like.  I just have no idea what.  I also will need something for her baptism in January.

I am inclined to just write a check and get her a hardback christmas book but I am typically anti cash or gift card for holiday gifts.

For my niece's baptism (I am her godmother) I got her a super cheesy bracelet and a little poem about how she's supposed to wear it as her something old on her wedding day.  Everyone cried and loved it, of course.

I see me has board book ones.  I think there are also personalize night before christmas ones too.
