If you have the chance to sneak a peek at your gifts, do you do it?
I accidentally saw that DH purchased the (wrong) Minnetonka slippers for me for Christmas. Otherwise I do not like to spoil surprises for myself. This probably stems from my sister ruining my LYFE by telling me I was getting the new NKOTB tape for Christmas one year.
Yup, surprise ruiner right here. I just can't help it! I used to sneak downstairs in the middle of the night on Christmas to see what Santa brought while everyone was sleeping. I even knew which stairs in my parents' house to avoid due to creaking
Huge surprise ruiner here! My brother and I used to untape one side of our gifts and look inside. My mom caught on, so she would put all the gifts inside random store boxes so we thought we were only getting clothes.

No, not at all. In college my bf got me diamond earrings and I saw the receipt in his glove box. I played it cool, but was so sad I knew what I was getting.
When I was pregnant with DS I saw an email from Blue Nile on DH's phone by accident, I was dissapointed then too, then I knew I was getting jewerly, but Blue Nile sells so much it wasn't completely ruined.

I love surprises.
This happened to me with DH and the diamond earrings he got me last year! I saw his e-mail. I was kind of bummed, but didn't let on.
No way! I LOVE surprises. I'm not interested in ruining them for myself. The only time I want them ruined is if I need to look nice, like a surprise party. One of my friends threw a surprise party for his wife for their 5-year anniversary, and the party was all set up when they arrived back from working in the community garden. Nope. I do not want to show up at my surprise party looking like I've been gardening all morning.
I once found a stash of the Barbies of the World when I was 8ish. My mom had been saving them to give them all to me at some point. I was DEVASTATED.
(Although, in hindsight, they kind of sucked because she would never let me play with them because they were "collector's edition Barbies". Whatevs, mom.)
I am a complete surprise ruiner. My brothers and I did the same as carawestt during Christmas, we also used to snoop around the closets.
I actually ruined a surprise today. I set up a Secret Santa gift exchange for my co-workers on elfster and I told myself I would not look to see who everyone got but I did anyways. I am glad to see who got me
I was a terrible surprise ruiner as a kid. I would find all my mom's hiding places. Now I don't try, but still end up ruining the surprises anyway. H is terrible about dropping hints and almost always gives things away.
Not anymore, although I don't get much in the way of surprises. My MIL wants to know exactly what to get me, my mom usually pulls something small surprise out, but she knows me well, and H doesn't buy me presents. If he did he would probably try to get me to guess it and give it away because he is terrible with secrets.
Definitely although I told mil to quit telling me what Brady is getting from them for Christmas bc I want a few surprises. So far he is getting a mr potato head set, the little people amusement park an elmo from mil and a scooter and farm from my mom
I typically hate surprises. I knew when I was getting proposed to. I do sneak around for Xmas & bday presents. It's crazy; however, that I was completely OK with being team green for both pregnancies.

Me too! Well for my 1 pregnancy but we plan to be team green next time too
Surprise ruined all my life. When I was younger I used to unwrap my presents in the closet without my parents knowing. I would slit the tape on one end, pull out the box, see what was inside, expertly slide it back in and apply more tape.
Somehow I conned H into divulging too much if my present for this year. I don't know exactly what it is but I have too much info. Lol
