Frozen pizza and bagged salad. I took a friend to the store and she insisted on buying us something in return. I supplemented the wimpy pineapple with some canned pineapple and Caleb ate more than half a can.
I'll either make myself a frittata or a sandwich, depending on how much more life force my child saps out of me in the next 45 minutes. H is at an interview so I just need to feed me
I completely forgot I had planned on making corn chowder today, so I made baked pork fingers. It sounds weird, but it's just like chicken fingers but using pork. Coated them in Dijon mustard, then seasoned panko. Also had steamed broccoli.

That sounds yum. Except the pork part. I don't know what pork tastes like. But I like the idea of coating the chicken in mustard first! I'm gonna try that next time

Sometimes I use ranch dressing instead of dijon. I also water it down a little for easier coating
charlielove do you have a meatless crockpot chili recipe?
Yes, it's my own made up version combining a few different recipes!
1 onion chopped 2 red bell peppers chopped 1 green bell pepper chopped 1 jalapeno diced 4 cloves garlic diced 1 32 ounce can crushed tomatoes 1 can black beans and liquid 2 cans kidney beans and liquid 1 can cannellini beans and liquid 1 cup corn 1 tablespoon cumin 3 tablespoons chili powder 1 teaspoon (or less) cayenne pepper 2 tablespoons balsamic Salt and pepper to taste
Saute all the veggies and throw them in the crockpot along with the other ingredients except the corn and balsamic. Add those 30 minutes prior to serving.

Awesome! How long does it cook for?
I would do at least 5 hours on low, but usually I do more like 8.
