I don't have it *yet* and I'm just wondering if I should be expecting it. When did it start/end for you?
Were you starving?! I feel so hungry! I have been needing to eat two lunches lately because by 3 I'm starving and can't make it to dinner. And I get really hungry MOTN. I definitely need to get some healthier snacks in here or I am going to gain so much weight!!
Yes and yes. The nipple pain didn't start until about 9-10 weeks? But it was AWFUL! My right hurt way more than my left, like brought me to tears, so I just stopped nursing on that side all together. My left stopped hurting around 25ish weeks but still gets sore if he's lazy with his latch.
As for the hunger, I was only nursing him 3x a day by the time I got pregnant so it wasn't too bad. But I still ate a ton to keep my calories up. Now, I'm always hungry, I eat non stop all day.
I was wondering this too, ladybug! G's latch has been bothering me occasionally over the past week when she's lazy about it, but it's not exactly pain. I haven't gotten sore boobs/nipples yet but assume it's coming since that was my most obvious pregnancy symptom last time around.
Before I got my BFP, I was wondering if I had stretched my stomach out from too much overeating and couldn't tell how much I really needed. I was soooo hungry and was eating way more than DH. Usually he eats more than me, but at this point I guess maybe I need extra calories? It's a good excuse while I'm not feeling nauseous or anything.
Yes yes yes. I started having dreadful nipple pain around 8 weeks and it subsided around 15w. I still have nipple pain when latching but not where I'm holding my breath. I was not overly hungry though but mostly because I think I was in denial and scared about this pregnancy. I am hungry all the time now though.
Ya my nips definitely feel different while nursing but it's not the horrible pain you all has described- looks like that will start just in time for London... yay.

I didn't. I nursed until I was 14 weeks. It felt different, weird different. It's like they were more sensitive and I could feel every little thing he did with his mouth and tongue and it drove me nuts. It wasn't pain just over sensitive.

No, I had no issues nursing while pregnant. It felt a bit like it did when I would have my period before. Maybe a bit of discomfort, but no pain. I weaned him when I was maybe 10 weeks, I don't remember exactly.
I had no issues in the first tri, then around 14 weeks it started to hurt. By 18-20 weeks it was eye watering, searing pain of nursing a newborn again. I'm happy to report it's definitely gotten easier now. Still stings a little but if she latches lazily, but it's not bad at all now. I am starting to notice BH contractions associated with it, so I think I'm going to contact a LC soon.
