Stupid Jeep, it's too smart for its own good. Back in the shop now, the computer system went haywire again (after offroading) and H and the kids got stranded out in the bush (sorry, haha, had to put that there)
I was on our girls' weekend for 4 nights, and H and the kids had to get towed back to our city. This is the 3rd time it's happened. Do we get rid of the car? Trade it in? It's a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee and H wanted it for the express purpose of offroading with his 4WD club, and the stupid computer keeps malfunctioning and the car's undriveable until it gets reset at the dealership.
WWYD? Trade in? Or stick it out?
(I've never liked this car, too big and hard to manoeuver and park . We also have an older X3 which I much prefer and am driving right now. It's smaller and drives better. (And doesn't break down))
My dad had a Grand Cherokee years ago and had nothing but problems with it!
Also, I meant to start another thread but since I have your here... what ended up happening with your friend who wanted lessons for her son? Did you agree to do it at a discounted rate? Is she watching your boys during that time?

Yes I am teaching him at my house, while our 4 yr olds play (mostly outside, haha) I ended up billing her $25/lesson instead of $30.

Oh good! Glad it worked out that you are still able to charge a reasonable rate to make it worth your time and she still gets a discount.

Hmmm….I don't know what I'd do. My husband is obsessed with Jeeps, it took me a solid two years to get him to sell his '99 that kept having problems. He finally did a couple months ago.

We got rid of our jeep Cherokee before Pey was born for the sole purpose of avoiding a million more problems we knew were to come. Holy crap there was always something with that damn car.
