As I start to get into my marathon training ( I hesitate to call it that, because I am only following the plan as my body allows, and if that doesn't work for the marathon, I'm not forcing anything...I digress) I don't remember being this tired last time this soon. Now- I may have just been drinking a lot more coffee, or I may just be a lot more aware of my body this time- but what's normal, and does it balance out?
Are there supplements I should be taking? My mileage isn't that high yet and my long run is only at 10miles, so I don't feel like this is normal. Also, I just realized that this feeling all coincided with aunt flo and a sickness I haven't been able to completely shake.
thoughts? Am I a just being a hypochondriac?
edited for: egregious spelling errors due to lack of sleep which I directly blame on ABC's Wednesday night prime programming. The winter programming break will do wonders for me. Apparently I have no self control.

Tired while you run or after? I was in a similar position, following a plan with the understanding that if my body said no I was done, and the beginning weeks were HARD. It took a lot longer than I thought for me to settle in to long runs. There were a lot of tears the first 4-6 weeks, but things fell into place at about my 15mi.
I think the ramp up was tougher than it looked on paper and once I got more used to the mileage I felt a lot better.

Good to know! I actually feel GREAT while running, it's just later in the day I just get really tired. Also on one of our coldest days yet on a short run, I felt like my legs were bricks- it was kind of disheartening.
I'm glad to know that hopefully my body will settle in.

I felt like my body was about 2 weeks behind in the plan, if that makes sense. Like on my 10mi run I felt like 8 was all I could handle, 12 I wanted to stop at 10. It did get better!! I gave myself many extra rest days those first 4-6 weeks and tried not to view walk breaks as failure. Don't get down on yourself!
How much sleep are you getting? The more you are running the more sleep you need. RW had an article that for ever mile you run you should be getting an extra minute of sleep per night so 30 mile weeks = go the bed half hour early.
