Are you with a midwife or something that she doesn't have an US machine where she sees you?
I'm sorry you're going through this stress- hopefully it was a matter of user error and baby is OK.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers today please keep us posted.
Try and get some rest- easier said than done I'm sure but hopefully tomorrow will bring good news!
I am with an OB, but here it is not standard practice to have an US machine in the office. (In BC, Canada) my old OB has a transvaginal US machine because he is a high risk OB.
Gotcha. Thinking nothing but good thoughts for you.
My ob's office starts each appointment saying they'll try the doppler but if the baby doesn't want to cooperate they'll do an u/s. They said it like it can be expected.
Good luck!
This makes me feel a little better. Thanx. My OB said that we would figure it all out before the end of the day tomorrow, she doesn't want me to go through the weekend without knowing what's going on.
Sending you lots of good thoughts and healthy vibes. If it makes you feel better, we didn't hear the heartbeat on the Doppler until 16 weeks or so, and now we have a perfectly healthy little girl.
Sending good vibes your way! I'm sorry you have the extra stress and hopefully she will find it quickly on the doppler tomorrow so you won't have to worry anymore.
FX! Hope you'll have good news to share soon. For me, even up to 16 weeks one of the docs had trouble finding the HB, she was just hiding very well. Hope yours is just playing hide and go seek as well.
Thinking of you, I hope you hear the heartbeat soon. For another anecdote, my baby hates the doppler too and always moves away from it. He/she will even kick where the tech was pushing with the wand.
Thanx ladies. I'm just sitting here waiting for dh to get home. I guess there's an accident and he is stuck in traffic.
Hugs and prayers! I can't imagine this is easy but try to breath and take your mind off it. You might have an anterior placenta and the baby might be deep in your back.
