I think it's fair for them to ask for a copy. If you're asking them to repair/replace certain things, I think it makes sense for them to see exactly what the inspector said. I'd be more likely as a seller to pay for something that the inspector said was a hazard vs. something that is nearing the end of it's useful life. If they're fixing things, it will also help to know exactly what is wrong.

I think either way is fine. I think it works in your favor if there are tons of other things that the inspection revealed, and you aren't being nitpicky and asking them to fix all of them. If I saw that there was a big list, I'd be more likely to quickly fix the few things you asked for before you added more
We shared the whole thing - it wasn't really a question and it was assumed we would since we were asking for repairs. They can't use the report for anything without your permission anyway since you paid for it. We were the back up offer on our house and we couldn't see the first buyer's inspection report even though the listing agent had it because the first buyer was the owner.

Ditto. We shared the whole report with our sellers, our buyers shared their whole report with us. Friends have done the same. It doesn't hurt you at all for the sellers to see that there were other items noted that you didn't ask for, and it can really help to see what the inspector wrote and the context.
I would share the whole report. We did and the seller agreed to fix the main issues we asked for considering there were a few others we left off the repairs request.
Our seller received a copy of ours (he was actually present for the inspection too) and fixed a couple of things that were mentioned on the report even though we didn't ask for those things to be fixed. Like, a door that didn't close all the way, and a handle that was loose, etc. I think it was a pride thing -- anything he could fix himself, he did. It was win-win for us
