In that situation, I would definitely hire a dog walker. Take the pressure off yourselves. Plus, you and I are due around the same time. I don't expect we can take an infant out with the dogs in the middle of winter. You might want to keep the dogwalker on for a little while after the first few weeks too -- maybe twice a week? I think we paid $35 for a 20 minute walk twice per week.
Our pup is pretty low energy and doesn't need a walk everyday (though we try to give him one). Sometimes we just run around the yard with him or let him play with the neighbor dogs for a while. My FIL usually walks him twice/week too.

Our dog currently goes to Doggie Daycare one day a week and we are planning on upping it to 2 days. We find it makes a big difference for her energy levels and she's usually tired for the next day after, plus she loves it!

We don't have one near us
I think the dog walker would be money well spent then. Whatever you can do to reduce your stress and keep everyone happy.

Our dog goes to daycare as well. He goes once every 2 weeks approx. (I work weird shifts so he only goes when DH and I both work days. He will be going 2-3 times a week after the baby is born. After daycare he sleeps almost the whole next day.
I enjoy my daily walks with the pups. it gets me out of the house and some fresh air. However, I had a really easy delivery.
This is another reason that I like the daycare, we can drop him off any day we want and they do not require any notice. (you just buy a package of days, like 10 or 20 at a time) He loves going there.
I would if we still lived in our apartment. Thankfully the house we bought has a fenced in yard. I am sooo looking forward to just letting them outside. Do you have a doggy daycare around that they can get some exercise at?

Nothing closer than 30 minutes
I think I'll sign up for 2 weeks and see how we are all doing. Maybe I will get lucky and have an easy delivery and be up for walks at 2wks PP or the dogs won't be as crazy (on non walk days) as I fear.
You may be like me and find that walks are really a nice change of pace. I was walking the first day out of the hospital (although I didn't have the baby at that time), and I am still walking every day.
Do you plan on wearing the baby or using a stroller?
We aren't planning on it since we have a fenced in yard and I honestly hope to be able to get out of the house (maybe not the first week) to at least go for walks. Our dog is normally ok without a daily walk, but he loves them so much and I'm sure having a baby in the house is going to be a huge adjustment for him so walks will probably help. Worse case, DH or my parents can take him on quick walks if I'm not able to.
I'm planning on taking her on walks with the baby early on, for all three of our sakes. With two dogs that may be harder, so in that case I'd absolutely get a dog walker.

We have a stroller, a maya wrap and a moby so I can try several options. Hopefully I have an easy recovery like you but I don't want to count on it.
I did find a dog walker who charges $20/30min walk but has no monthly contract vs the previous company who is $17/15 minute walk with a contract. I think she will definitely be worth it a) they get a longer walk b) no contract means I can cancel after a week if we don't need her anymore.
It may be worth it to get them out from under foot. Who knows how they will respond to the baby, and they could get super needy.
