I've used Snapfish before and was not impressed. I tried Shutterfly this time, which I doubt will be a whole lot better but I already had some pics on there so it was easier to make my books for the grandparents there.
Oh, I made one of those mini accordian books on Mpix a few months ago. It was really nice! I was impressed. My mom and grandma loved them. Perfect size for a purse.
I just did calendars and mugs from shutterfly. I found the quality to be fine for something that isn't on display. I guess if it was a canvas or something I might spend a but more.

You can order it directly from Tervis and they are 25% off right now.

Yeah on pretty sure that's the only place you can order them.

This is the first time I've done photo gifts. I got my dad a silver frame from Pottery Barn inscribed with "DS and Grandpa." Cost $36. I got my mom a photo calendar from Tiny Prints. Cost $15.
I ordered a calendar and mug from shutterfly, a canvas print from picanova (there's a groupon for $19 right now), an iPhone case, mouse pad, canvas print, and ornament from staples (another groupon going on)
I used shutterfly last year - I liked the ornament and photo books. Mouse pad, canvas print, and calendars were just ok. Coffee mugs have faded horribly and were not worth it.
Blurb has fantastic photo books - super impressed with their quality so I went that route this year.
I've done Shutterfly and Picaboo photo books. I hated the Picaboo website - the photo book turned out fine, but the website to create the book was not user-friendly.
I've also gotten ornaments from Mpix and loved how they turned out.
I just bought a phone case and a SS water bottle for my sister. The phone case is from PrinterPix and the water bottle is from CafePress. Both are deals on AmazonLocal today. They were each $10.
A couple of years ago I did wedding photo puzzles from Portrait Puzzles for parents & ILs, they turned out really well. I just did a collage in Picasa and sent them that file.
3 of 4 of VCB's grandparents are into puzzles, so we'll do them again for those three. Not sure what to do for the fourth. I checked around on Zazzle and Cafe Press and didn't see anything that jumped out at me.
All of ours have been from shutterfly. We do an annual calendar and have done mousepads. Like niq we have family who are into puzzles and I heard ours turned out cute. We did engraved frames from Things Remembered for Mothers Day

When I try to upload a picture it says my picture is too large. How can I make my picture smaller? It's from the CD we got from our professional photographer!
