We have a custom sized mirror in our bathroom with a 1" beveled edge. I can't find one anywhere so that's why I assume it's custom.
You can see swirls behind it from where the steam made the glue visible. It is possible to just make the back paper or whatever it is solid again? Who would do that? Or Do I really need to find where I can get a custom mirror made and hope it doesn't happen again?
It was like this when we moved in but the bathroom was reno'ed only 6 years ago.
Yes, mirrors can be re-silvered. Call some local glass/mirror businesses. I am worried your larger problem is going to be how are you going to get the mirror off the wall if it is glued?

Very carefully and lots of praying?! LOL. I won't do it without a back up plan in place that's for sure!
