Is this a joke? I was up last night throwing up....not sure if it's a bug or indulging in rich food for DHs bday. Luckily I am feeling better this morning and can keep fluids and dry Cheerios down. I am so done being pg!
I had it last weekend at 37 and a half weeks and ended up in l&d getting IV fluids. It was not fun. I couldn't even keep water down and my appetite still hasn't fully come back yet. I hope you feel better soon!
Awwww. I'm sorry. I was going to say a lot of people get diarrhea and vomiting in early labor, but maybe not if you are feeling better....
I thought this too but I slept and feel better now. I think I just over did it yesterday. I would not want this to be the way I started labor Idk how id have any energy to labor or push.

Not necessarily. I was on and off feeling nauseous the last two weeks I was pregnant. I was induced ultimately because of a few different issues, but I was contracting like crazy up until then so my doctor said the nausea was most likely related to my body trying to prepare itself.

I haven't really had contractions, when I was feeling sick I got a burning sensation across the top of my bump and abdominal cramps. I see my doc on Wed but if I start feeling crappy again I will call.

You might be having them and not realize it. I felt a decent amount of contractions, but then when I went in for my induction we were all surprised to see I was contracting almost non-stop and had no idea.

If it is only you, it's probably pregnancy. Late in the third trimester my body gets fussy about food and sometimes decides to purge it (one way or another) as if prepping for labor - even when it's not. Feel better soon.

I am getting cramps again….but now we are having a snow storm -- it wasn't supposed to be bad, but roads aren't good right now. I am hoping they go away. My hospital is 40 mins away….ugh. I started timing the cramps so I will keep you updated.

Babies like to come in bad weather! Don't worry about it if anything happens. Your job is to focus on your body, your H will get you where you need to go.Â
I was born in a bad snowstorm! Of course, I'm going to hate you if you go first I'm dying to get this over with ASAP, as in, I'd like to go in tonight. Lol.Â
Cramps stopped again so just trying to rest I am completely exhausted.

Drink lots of water and rest as much as you can. If it is the start of something, you'll be glad you got started on fluids and have at least a little resting behind you. If it's a bug, they won't hurt either.

This is true. When I went in to get fluids I was hooked up to the monitor and I was having regular contractions five minutes apart and I had no idea.
I've had lots of cramping and contractions since going in, and the midwife told me my body is just not back to normal and that's why I am having them more. She said it would take a week or two to feel normal again. She also said that if it was time for me to have the baby, the force of me vomiting would have broken my water. I'm sure she was just trying to reassure me (even if it's not really true) but it did help to hear.
