Between obviously being pregnant, working 50+ hours a week, dealing with trying to close on a house and get out of our apartment, I find myself so stressed (which I know isn't good!)
Any good suggestions to destress? I would love to take a hot hot bath but I know that's not an option
My doctor said I could bathe with no problems. Also I've heard some doctors don't mind a glass of wine every so often. Sort of depends on you and your view point. Do you have any family near by that can help you pack up the apt and move to the house?

We have cousins local and some friends helping. We gave ourselves a nice 3 week cushion between closing and having to be out of our old place. I know I can't be of much help moving. I've asked my dr and she advises against hot bathes (I've asked previously when my lower back hurt).
I take baths. Not super hot...actually not nearly as warm as the showers I take every day. Just pay attention and make sure you don't start to feel like you're getting overheated.
Otherwise, I find exercise to be good for stress relief, especially a walk or a swim.
Don't stress about the stress. the baby will be fine. That doesn't mean you shouldn't try to find ways to fix it - but fix it for you.
(I remember some study that came out when I was pregnant the first time which suggested that babies born to stressed moms end up with calmer demeanors, or something. I can't remember if it was legit or not, but let's just pretend it was ;-)
Yoga, deep breathing, and taking a long walk have all helped me destress! Cuddle up with a cup of tea and stare at a Christmas tree. That's my favorite thing to do right now!

I cry. I usually turn into a raging bitch, and only feel better after I've cried & talked it out with H. I don't do baths because I can't stand to sit in hot water and sweat, and I get bored after about 3 minutes. I have been taking an absurd number of showers lately, but that's mostly because I'm so uncomfortable and standing under the hot water feels good and helps me relax.... I don't know what standing in hot water is so much different than sitting in hot water, but it is.

And to add to stress two weeks after the house appraisal they JUST came back with an addendum that puts the appraisal under the asking price. I don't even know what we're suppose to do now....

Go to your realtor and find out about negotiating for a lower sale price. Does your purchase agreement contract require that the appraisal be at or above the contract price?

The seller matched the appraisal. I *think* you can't get financing with the appraisal lower than asking price. Everything is back on track

Good :-) Then that is a good outcome. I've heard of situations where sellers refused to match the appraisal and were willing to let the deal crater If you were planning to put down more than 20% then sometimes you can still get financing but I'd be pissed as a buyer.
