My mom has been getting these really badly from menopause hormones. She goes to the dermatologist and gets something injected. I think it is cortisone but I am not positive. I know she gets pissed when I call it her Botox.
I'm sorry @cse1960 as soon as I posted I thought she is going to think I am such an ass with the "oh my mom has that...menopause". My mom really did suffer a while though and tried everything I just wanted to pass along some of her wisdom.
Barely no hair grows on my legs. But white stiff chin hairs drive me nuts. I am also a natural blond. Why hair on my face now? A magnifying mirror is not my friend.

I had one on the tip of my nose not too long ago. I called in sick over it, and didnt leave the house for days. Even my kids noticed it-- Mom, what's wrong with your nose? -- that's when I knew I wasnt fit to be seen!

When I get one of these (always on my damn chin!), I soak a cotton ball in hot salt water and just hold it on the area for 30 min or so a few times a day. This seems to keep it at bay and make it go away faster. Worth a try!
