Early in our relationship, we didn't have many ornaments so I'd use candy canes and paper snowflakes to fill any gaps in the tree. Add glitter to them if you want to be fancy. Or garlands of popcorn for an old fashioned look (though I'm not entirely sure how long something like this would last - and certainly not if you have ant or mice issues).

What?? I think they're interesting! I have an assortment of balls on my tree already. I have unbreakable balls and tinsel-filled balls and frosted balls... I thought about getting some mirror balls but decided against that.
Isn't that what Christmas trees are made for? Mine has sparkly balls, colorful balls, yarn balls, balls that jingle, and balls that don't jingle. I think I even have a few balls with feathers in them.

I have dog issues is what I have. Lol.
Those damn goldendoodles ha! Ours is the reason we aren't even bothering with a tree this year and I am perfectly fine with that.
