I work in physician recruitment and sometimes I will get CV's where names and words are not capitalized and in the English language they should be. I don't know whether to judge this or if it is common for that language.
I mean common sense would tell me this is correct. I've just never thought about whether it was common to not capitalize a first or last name. I realized I was being judgmental to applicants when maybe I should not have been.
How about you give some leeway for cultural and language differences and focus on the work that the physician has done?
Of course I look at the work. However, documentation is a large part of the job. A well written CV means a lot.
I agree. Take a look at the rest of the CV and if the rest is well written, ignore proper nouns. You can tell a janky resume from a good one without the name.

It's commonly names and proper nouns that I have noticed.
