I had a stupendous dark and stormy the other day, so I went to the store and got good ginger brew and was all excited to make mea cocktail. And I get the brilliant idea of leaving the ginger beer outside, since it's frigid, and it's only going to be an hour.
And now each bottle is ducking frozen and unusable, and you know when they finally defrost that some of the fizziness will go away a bit. Sad panda.
lucky you, I had some nasty ass Tunisian wine that a friend brought back. It's so nasty I'm contemplating chasing it with the only alcohol I have left in the house (Patron) but it's Monday and I'm already buzzed so...

I say Monday is a great excuse for being buzzed, l'Chaim!
i have grandiose illusions of making it to 9:30am yoga tomorrow, yet the thought makes me laugh and laugh. There's nothing more horrible than hot yoga while buzzed. Oh my.
I've never had Tunisian wine, or have I been to Tunisia (thing Tunis is in my list) so I'm envious, even if it's purportedly nicht gut. I can't imagine the desert equatorial environment being all that great for wine making, but they figured out how to make good wine from Arizona, so....
I'm drinking chard left from the party this weekend. It's not bad but I'm not a huge Chardonnay fan in general. I have tons of options, I'm just being frugal and using every part of the bat before it goes to waste.
Unless it's $3 chuck or something ghastly that can't be used to cook or mix, I have a strong aversion to throwing things away as well.
So drink up, happy Monday!
I do like an oaky dry Chardonnay though, when the mood is right...
