DS1 28 months. The last 6 months was just night nursing. He has food allergies so I was content to let him wean when he was ready. DS2 15 months. He has no food allergies and was biting a ton. It was just time.
We are still nursing at 20 months. He sometimes needs to be nursed at night anywhere from 0-3 times. I need to night wean but he seems to be doing that himself (well, sort of) and the MOTN crying for me plays into my pregnancy hormones ATM.
My first gal self-weaned at 13 months. (And I was ready to be done.)
For the most part I'm done night nursing my 10-month-old, but she still tends to feed between 4-5 a.m. and then is up for the day between 6-7:30. So maybe technically I'm still night nursing? Heh. I plan to ween the day feedings when she turns a year since I'll be going back to work, and then we'll see how long both she and I want to continue the morning/evening sessions.
About 8 hours. . . My milk didn't come in and none of the nurses realized it. They sent us home with a 3 day old who had nothing to eat. I tried to nurse for 8 hours straight that night because he was screaming inconsolably. Finally when I realized we had no wet diapers since leaving the hospital, I called the doctor who told us to take him back to the hospital where he was treated for dehydration.I have epumped ever since so I can see exactly how much he is getting. We also supplement with formula because I don't produce enough
I was a terrible producer. She weaned herself at about 11 months when I started to offer cows milk after each nursing session. One day she started straining to get off my lap reaching for the bottle. I stopped night nursing some time after she started to eat copious solids. Maybe 9 or 10 months?
She stopped nursing all together on her own at 8.5 months, night feedings as well went away at that time, and I have been pumping since. I'm hoping to be done completely with pumping Dec. 31st. I have enough in the freezer to get her until 11 months and then she will switch to cow's milk.
20 months with Henry. Weaned because I was pg and my milk went away. Also, I wanted a break. Clare is 6 months now and I plan on a year plus with her as well.
I didn't nurse my oldest two, but I nursed my youngest for 6 months when I felt I needed to go back on medication that wasn't safe to take while BFing.
sleep trained/night weaned her at about 6 months though I kept a 4am feeding until she was almost 1.
fully weaned her at 14 months, to her displeasure. I hadn't had a period and wanted to get pregnant again, plus it just began to feel weird for me. At that point we were doing only morning and night and I believe she'd have kept at it forever if I let her.

Nursed till almost two with both. I forced weaning they had no intentions of stopping on their own. I produce like a damn Jersey. They both started STN between 8/10 weeks. Barring a cold or teething no night time feedings after that.
