Has anyone filed a claim with USPS?

And did you get your money?

My mom sent me a nativity scene that they bought in Spain right around my first birthday, and since she recently purchased a new one, she thought she'd give me the Spanish one.  So she sent it to me, and it arrived yesterday in about a zillion pieces.  

Since she sent it priority, it has $50 insurance on all of the boxes, so I filed a claim tonight for all three of them.  

So I am curious to know if anyone actually got their money back from USPS or not.
