Boring and hugely disappointing. Wait for the movie. I'm hoping, for probably the first time with regard to film adaptations, that the screenwriter will take creative license and make the movie better.

I loved Divergent...I started losing interest about 3/4 of the way through the second book. So, I looked up spoilers online just to find out how everything ended. I'm satisfied with that.
My sister lent me the book and I've been debating reading it as well. Now I think I need to just to see how bad it is that it's causing such harsh responses
I think I'm the only one who was totally satisfied with it.
Read it so you can see how it all ends!
I agreed with you on The Hunger Games. Just because of that, I'm going to read Allegiant because you said so.
This is a decision you are going to regret. Not just because the ending is horribly, but because the first 500 pages are exceedingly boring. Don't say I didn't warn you!

I'm not going to. I thought Divergent was fine but did not live up to the hype. Insurgent was just so-so. I'm not going to waste my time on Allegiant. Really though, I still don't understand why everyone loved the first two books so much.
I do not have as strong an opinion as most here. I will say I didn't think it was horrible, but it is pretty slow and I'm upset about how Tris' story gets played. But I definitely wasn't all "I paid $8 for that?" or anything. But I had to finish the trilogy.
