This pregnancy is starting to feel more real now that I've had an ultrasound, seen the heartbeat, and told our families, so I figured it was time to intro. We tried for 5 months, and now I'm 7w4d with our first, due July 26. All I can stomach at the moment is Kraft Dinner and cheesy bread. H and I have been married for a year and a half, and we have a Yorkie/Silky mix named Pippin. I live in Ontario, Canada, and I just finished my undergrad degree. H is in communications for the municipal government. I like to knit, read, and write.
I think those are the basics! Feel free to ask me any questions.
Congrats! I hope your ability to eat a variety of foods comes back soon! Will you guys be finding out the sex of the baby? Was it fun telling family?!
Thanks! We will find out the sex, for sure. I want to be able to prepare as much as I can beforehand, since I know that being a first time mom will be a huge adjustment. I figure that finding out the sex is one of the few things I can control about this baby!
Telling family was amazing! My mom and sister cried, and H's family was surprisingly enthusiastic, considering they're pretty stoic most of the time.

Welcome and congrats! We're right behind each other in due dates. We're waiting to tell our families and friends until Christmas when we'll be a little closer to to the second tri and honestly I can't wait to tell them. I'm glad your family had such a great reaction.

Welcome. I'm due July 26 as well =)
We don't go for our first appointment until next week though so am still a little nervous. Am feeling you on the food aversions. The only thing I find appealing is cheddar and sour cream Ruffles and ginger ale. And clementines.
