You look like a grown up! I don't mean to say it ages you. It just looks like you're an adult rather than a 17 year old.
I just wanted to point out, for the fun of it, that I think I bought this sweater in high school. Lol. I hope I wasn't subconsciously trying to hang on to my teenage years
You guys are amazing. I still feel like I lucked out with a good picture of it, I swear I do not normally have that much sass, lol. It was hard this morning because most of the people that saw me today were just like "you cut your hair! Wow, it's short!" After a while I realized....everyone noticed it's short but no one actually said it looked good. so thank you all.
The difference in length is dramatic, so people feel the need to point it out, in case you didn't notice.
It looks great. I bet you hear that more over the next few days as people get used to the length.

I was going to go with "my coworkers are just buttheads" but that's a nicer way to think about it.
I'd compliment it but you're looking for FALSE compliments. Any I would give would necessarily not fit that criteria. I happen to think it looks great.
ETA: Right now my hair is past my shoulders and halfway to my waist. I've done the grow-it-out-cut-to-chin routine several times before and it's always a shock and difficult to get used to at first. I generally walk out of the salon feeling about ten pounds lighter and then the next morning hating it because I can never get it to look like the stylist does. Your co-workers are noticing the length and commenting on that difference. It's pretty a typical response. No matter how amazing the cut, the shock of twelve inches gone is going to be noticed and commented first.
