We just booked flights to Paris and are now looking at apartment rentals for the week, (next november). I think we would like to stay in Le Marais but am open to any suggestions at this point. We'll spend up to $2000 for the week but honestly won't be spending much time in the apartment so it doesn't have to be fancy, just a great location (close to the metro).
We rented an apartment in St. Germain 2 years ago when we were house-hunting in Paris. I can't remember the exact cost, but it was over $120/night and was teeny, tiny, but super well-located. We weren't hanging out in the apartment a whole lot anyway, so I was perfectly happy with just having enough space for a bed and a small fridge to keep things like milk for breakfast.
The place you posted looks very nice and has good reviews. If it really is just a 2-minute walk from the St. Paul metro stop, then that is a fantastic location.
I've posted a ton of Paris reco's before. I'll see if I can find some old threads and post links to them.
