How's it going? Generally, really well. C remains a happy baby and I find that each month gets easier.
Height/weight? She's 8 months now so we haven't been to the doctor in a while. At 6 months she was around 26 3/4 inches and weighed 21lbs. I'm guessing she's at least an inch taller and pound heavier now.
What new tricks is your LO doing? She can sit up like a pro. She has only crawled once that I've seen but can get absolutely anywhere by scooting/rolling. We're working on kissing, clapping and waving.
How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo? A combo. C loves food and I'm trying to be braver with BLW.
What's sleep like these days? I don't talk about sleep for fear of jinxing something. We are very lucky. She does seem to be moving to a later bed time which is actually good for us.
Any questions or concerns? Not really.
Anything you are looking forward to? We're really enjoying the holiday season and I can't wait for Christmas. I'm even looking forward to a few days at with the ILs who haven't seen C since July.
How's it going? It's okay. We've had a few rough weeks but I'm holding out hope that our Christmas visit with the fam will help.
Height/weight? She was 19 lbs 9 oz (94% lol) at her 6m well check. She's 74% for height but I can't recall it specifically.
What new tricks is your LO doing? She is working on 'falling' once she's pulled up and has been trying to stand unassisted. It's kind of terrifying, as it involves her staring at the ground and then letting go. LOL.
She has been super early at everything motor-related, so I'm wondering when walking is coming. She already walks pushing a box around our apartment. Apparently my cousin walked at 8 1/2 months. (I had casts on my legs at that age, so we don't know when I otherwise would have walked.)
She has started alternating consonants and vowels when she bables: gooo baaa gaa.
How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo? They suck.
We were trying to do BLW, but she has an anal fissure (wtf) from one of the chunks she passed (apparently she doesn't chew!), so our pedi has suggested doing purees for a bit. That should be fun since she clamps her mouth shut when a spoon of stuff approaches her mouth.
What's sleep like these days? It's is hideous. She is up so often. And I know she can sleep more: I got a 5 hour stretch earlier this week, so this every 2 hours max is for the birds.
Any questions or concerns? I am concerned about how often she wakes up, but not keen on CIO, so that probably means WIO.
Any tips on getting her to take a straw cup with BM in it? As in, would you start trying to show her to use the cup with WBM in it, try with water, or what? I don't want to waste a ton of BM and don't have lots frozen in small increments (stupid).
I'm worried she's under-stimulated with her toys. I think Christmas will fix it, but any favorites out there?
Anything you are looking forward to? Sitting by the fire at my mom's house in two weeks, with my feet up, a cup of hot chocolate, and someone else watching the baby. Possibly getting a date with H while I'm home (my sister said she'll run J to us if she needs to nurse, AMAZING).

C can do water in a straw sippy. We bought the one that you can squeeze so water goes up the straw... it didn't take her long to figure out once we did that.
How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo?
What's sleep like these days?
Any questions or concerns?
Anything you are looking forward to?
It's going OK. Cuteness factor is super high, pain in the butt factor also high.
Not sure, last time at 7-8mo she was 16lbs & short (like 25").
She's been clapping, doing "So big", playing pat-a-cake, & has said Dada a few times to DH. She doesn't do much gross motor stuff...she like standing but I have to put her in that position. Same with pulling her on all 4s. She doesn't crawl or even get herself into sitting yet. Still just rolling & sitting mostly. She's very verbal & talkative...to the point of annoying. Lol. She's taking a bottle now & I'm slowly transitioning her to formula. I'm not in a huge hurry to wean but I'm mentally over BFing, especially at night. I'd like to part time it until April if I can successfully.
She likes purées & likes to eat. She regularly gags so as much as she wants to snarf down regular food, I have to be pretty careful.
She sleeps 7-5 with a few wake ups & then is awake/restless for the last 1-2hours in bed. We still cosleep.
Concerns, she's still on reflux meds, a little slow on the gross motor milestones. Generally she's a pretty awesome but definitely high needs/high attention needing baby.
Her STTN!!! She's about to pop her 2 front teeth through which may help the sleep issue.
How's it going? Great! Wes is 8.5 months old and so so so much fun! He's really learning so much every day.
Height/weight? Not sure on height - maybe 29"? Weight is around 18.5/19 lbs.
What new tricks is your LO doing? Clapping and waving, trying to pull up, walking with assistance, army crawling - it's been a big week!
How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo? We're doing BLW. Going ok - he's starting to actually consume more and more.
What's sleep like these days? A couple of weeks ago (around Thanksgiving) it was horrendous - he was doing the multiple wake-ups with screaming thing. It's now back to his normal STTN. I'm sure I just jinxed it though.
Any questions or concerns? Nope - the babyproofing thread is hugely helpful!
Anything you are looking forward to? Christmas! I think the kiddo's going to have a blast playing with all the paper.
Holy cow on the anal fissure!
As far as purees, have you tried loading the spoon for her and then handing it to her? That's what we do and my kiddo got it in his mouth the first time. He's hit or miss since, but if it's something he wants he can usually make it work!

How's it going? Pretty well over all
Height/weight? At 6 mo check up a month and a half ago she was 18lbs and 28ins.
What new tricks is your LO doing? Lost of babbling. Sometimes she gives kisses. She started pulling up on things too.
How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo? Combo. She really likes squash and feeding herself.
What's sleep like these days? Shit. She's up 4-6 x a night. We're co sleeping until it goes away.
Any questions or concerns? She's been army crawling for about a month. I'm surprised that she hasn't started really crawling yet. She gets on all 4s and then gets lazy and puts her tummy down. This is fine, right? DS didn't army crawl at all.
Anything you are looking forward to? I love this current age. She doesn't laugh a huge amount, but when she does they are magical.
How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo? They suck.

Yeah it's kind of like a paper cut on the top of her butt hole.
I will try preloading again. When we tried this before, she used her hand as a fulcrum to fling it at the wall. Haha.
How's it going? Pretty good. She's a happy baby - I love this age.
Height/weight? She was 16 lbs and 25.75 inches at her 6 month appointment a month ago
What new tricks is your LO doing? Crawling, pulling herself up, using her 4 little teeth, pulling ornaments off the Christmas tree, chasing the cats
How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo? We are doing purees and she just started puffs last week. It's going OK finally. She wasn't interested for a while
What's sleep like these days? Still kind of crappy. A few wake-ups at night.
Any questions or concerns? Nope
Anything you are looking forward to? Her first Christmas, and first words!
How's it going? Pretty good. She is crawling all over the place and pulling up on everything it seems.
Height/weight? She was 18lbs at the pedi this week. Not sure on height but we are moving to the convertible over the holiday break bc she's reaching the 1".
What new tricks is your LO doing? Crawling like a champ, pulling up, and a bit of holding onto the couch and then moving and holding onto our legs. Working on one handed holding. SLOW DOWN BABY!
How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo? She does awesome with a pouch at lunch at daycare. We do mostly BLW at home and it's going pretty well.
What's sleep like these days? Crappy, up at least 2x lately. Tooth 3 just broke through so maybe she'll get back to just 1x. Otherwise we're going to do a slight Ferber for the first wake up which is usually 11ish, so only 3.5-4 hours after she goes down.
Any questions or concerns? Just working on the whole BLW thing and missing my baby who STTN.
Anything you are looking forward to? Christmas and watching her with all the wrapping paper.
How's it going? Pretty good. We've had some sleep issues lately. She's been taking forever to go down, so hopefully that will stop soon. Height/weight? at her 6 month appt (about 3 weeks ago) she was 28" (99%) and 18lbs 4oz(88%) What new tricks is your LO doing? She just started clapping this week! It's super cute. She also finally mastered rolling from front to back, so now she's rolling around more and more. How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo? Pretty good. We are doing purees. She's had sweet potatoes(loved!), butternut squash (eh, not so much) and baby oatmeal. I think we are going to do avacado and banana next. What's sleep like these days? Overall okay. She's not been wanting to go down as easy the past few days. She's also been working on cutting her top teeth for a few weeks so I think that has something to do with it. We had two nights earlier this week where she STTN for the first time in a moth or two. That was lovely. Any questions or concerns? So with feeding...when do we move to more than one "meal" per day? Right now we are doing one food for four days before introducing a new one. I assume once we get a multiple foods going we can start mixing them together? Like adding some puree to the oatmeal? Anything you are looking forward to? Christmas with family back home. We are doing a week with my family and a week with the inlaws. I can't wait to see everyone! DD is going to have fun eating Christmas paper while opening presents.

We did one "meal" at 6 months, two at 7 months, and we're moving to three at 8 months. As for mixing, I assumed it was fine as long as both foods had already been offered separately.

How's it going? Good. He is very cute, happy 99% of the time, and he likes being around people... even "strangers."
Height/weight? 20.4 lb (52%) and 28" (54%) last week at his 8 mth check up
What new tricks is your LO doing? he scoots fast and is starting to go up on all 4s or on his 2 back legs a lot and occasionally pulling up. He loves to stand with assistance. I am working on high five. He absolutely loves watching me blow bubbles.
How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo? He eats like a champ. We did BLW and daycare does some purees. He likes greek yogurt plain a lot which surprised me. He eats pretty much whatever we give him and always wants what we are eating.
What's sleep like these days? Knock on wood he is sleeping well and usually just wants his pacifier if he wakes up, but occasionally we have to give a bottle once between 8 and 5. He doesn't always go to sleep when we want, but if he lays in hubby's armpit, he falls asleep within a few minutes.
Any questions or concerns? How do I teach him to clap or wave or do patty cake? He always seems to keep his fingers closed.
Anything you are looking forward to? Time off work to spend with him over the holidays.
How's it going? Great aside from sleep! DS is so much fun these days! Height/weight? 19.5 lb 28 in-ish What new tricks is your LO doing? Clapping, waving, high fives, pulling up on everything, starting to cruise, a few moments standing without holding on How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo? A combo. DS wasn't really interested in food (besides mum-mums) until the last few weeks. What's sleep like these days? Horrible. DS STTN from 2-4 mo and then stopped. He goes down around 7p and gets up at 6a. Lately he's been waking up a ton though. Last night it was every 2 hours. On the plus side naps have been getting better. Normally he has two naps 1 hour each. Any questions or concerns? How do you guys deal with MOTN waking? Anything you are looking forward to? I can't wait to watch him rip all the wrapping paper at Christmas and play with his cousins.
Height/weight? At 6 months (she is 8 months now) she was 19 lbs and 29 inches tall
What new tricks is your LO doing? Pulling up on everything, crawls, claps, and somewhat signs for more and eat
How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo? Combo she loves chicken pieces, eating peas, green beans and pears but we mostly give purées
What's sleep like these days? Eh regressed to waking up at least once around 4 but goes to bed around 8 every night
Any questions or concerns? Teeth grinding, her wake-ups and a horrible diaper rash we had to get script to help
Anything you are looking forward to? Hearing first words and seeing her walk to?
How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo?
What's sleep like these days?
Any questions or concerns?
Anything you are looking forward to?
How's it going? Great! DD is such a joy now and is the happiest little baby. I never would have believed it when we were in the thick of it with colic.
Height/Weight 1 month ago she was 16lb 5oz. I'll take her in on Tues to get weighed.
New tricks She's waving and saying dadadada a lot. She's also trying to crawl.
Solids She is totally uninterested in puréed food. I thought I'd just hold off on solids but then randomly have her some veggies from the stew we had the other night and she loved it! Ever since she has loved gnawing on big hunks of soft fruit and veggies. Easier than purée anyway I guess.
Sleep She's hit or miss. Some nights it's 1 or 2 quick wake ups, others remind me that there's an 8 month sleep regression. She was up from 430-6 last night just staring at me while I held her. It could be worse but man, do I ever miss sleep.
Looking forward to Everything. . I'm loving this age with the babbling and interacting. I can't wait for Christmas and New Years when we're heading to the snow. Lots of fun times ahead.

How's it going? E is doing great, I think this age is so much fun! Dd is 9 months born march 5
Height/weight? she just had 9 month check this week 18 lbs 7 oz, 29.5 inches
What new tricks is your LO doing? She is crawling everywhere, pulling up to stand on everything and cruising furniture She learned to give kisses and clap!
How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo? She is still doing purees and some BLW, I'm so nervous about gagging/choking. She didn't show much interest in table foods until recently. What's sleep like these days? 50/50 either great with sleeping through or one wake up to eat or horrible. She was getting her top two front teeth the past week so I know that made it worse
Any questions or concerns?
Anything you are looking forward to? I want things to slow down! I just got used to her crawling, I"m not ready for her to walk yet!
Hmm E hasn't shown much interest in waving or clapping. She is too focused on standing. She does love when I read to her and gets excited.
I think my E is a little older than your E (on app) - she started trying to wave right around 8 months, but the clapping took another 3 weeks or so. She can stand hanging onto stuff but not unassisted at all.
How's it going? Fabulous! He's the best kid ever. Except he has a terrible cold again...
Height/weight? About 21 lbs 5 oz. Over 29 inches at his six month appointment. Do I win for megababies?
What new tricks is your LO doing? Rolls from one side of the room to the other. Uses super rolling powers to steal other baby's toys at daycare.
How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo? I started with some BLW...and he did fine, but it's such a mess and he loves the pouches, so it's hard to get back to it. Solids are going really well. Fatty loves all edible stuff. Except green beans. Doc said to do 3 meals a day. We didn't start solids until about the 6 month mark, so it seems crazy to jump to three so fast, but he is fine with it.
What's sleep like these days? Could be better. Goes down between 6-7. Seems to struggle the first 4 hours lately, which is fine cause we're still awake. Then usually one wake up to eat before 7ish when he wakes.
Any questions or concerns? I miss EBF poop. Solids poop sucks. But no concerns...
How's it going? Pretty well. I'm enjoying this stage and trying to enjoy being at home with him, though I'm 100% looking for a job.
Height/weight? We haven't been to the pedi in a couple of months but my husband checked his height yesterday so maybe 31 inches. We think he's around 22lbs.
What new tricks is your LO doing? He's crawling all over and pulling up. He's now able to sit up himself (from lying down). He makes a lot of sounds. Lots of laughing and lots of whining (it seems lol).
How are solids going? Are you doing purees, BLW, or a combo? To tell the truth, I've been lazy with this. He really hasn't had much purees. He has oatmeal sometimes but I've decided to just give him food.
What's sleep like these days? He still wakes up at least twice during the night. He naps twice a day for a little over an hour and goes down pretty easily. At night though, it's been a little harder. I'm not sure why. He'll be tired and will fall asleep but then wake up once I put him down. Unfortunately for us, he still needs to be rocked to sleep, though he's fallen asleep himself a couple of times.
