I asked my in laws for those snap on lenses for taking cooler/better iphone pictures. Other than that, I'm always hoping for nice clothes and jewelry. My family has nice taste, so I count on the holidays to give me style
I also collect and wear nice brooches - usually I get a couple antique/vintage pieces from my in laws. Yay for having family that's into antiquing.
I'm having a hard time as well. We didn't get much stuff off our registries, so it's difficult to not ask for those things, though my mom is getting us the Pack n Play that we picked out as our gift.
My MIL and SIL are usually great at giving gifts, and I typically get some jewelry, nail polish or girly items from them.

I think dh is getting me this "elliptical" like thing (it's basically a smaller version of just the feet part of an elliptical exerciser. I have to get rid of my full sized one to make that room into a nursery so this was my idea as something I could do at home while on maternity leave to get back into shape.
I also asked for a space heater for my office, maternity jammie pants, a new iPhone case, Tyler Florence's cookbook and another one of those Bobeau wraps. I know people have mixed feelings about them, but I love mine and get a lot of compliments on it. Plus, the way it is shaped, I works while I am pregnant and it isn't maternity so it will work after.
simpsongal I am so glad you mentioned those iphone lenses. I was thinking about getting them for dh but hadn't ordered them yet. They are in my Amazon cart now

formerlyak I hope they're good. I asked MM for opinions and no one seemed to have experience with them. They're pretty inexpensive. So if I get a few cool fish eye shots of the baby, I'll be happy.
Take note, I don't think they transfer well from iphone to iphone. So if your DH plans on upgrading, buy him the lenses for the next iphone. I just got an iphone 4 and plan on keeping it for a while.
I didn't want anything specifically off my registry, just because I know I'd be annoyed if I got baby items and my H got a bunch of beer brewing supplies, etc (he's big into homebrewing). However, I'm getting an iPad from my mom, which will be great during nursing, and asked for this cabinet thing from Target I've had my eye on forever that I might put baby stuff in. One thing H is getting me is a prenatal massage (I'm going Saturday!).
I asked for gift cards to buy new clothes after the baby comes. When my son was born, I was so excited to be out of maternity clothes, but was a size bigger than pre-pregnancy so I wanted a bunch of new stuff. I agree that it's a bummer for the mom-to-be to get all baby gifts, while dad-to-be gets non-baby stuff. I also asked for a nice yoga mat and workout gear to motivate me to get moving once the baby's here, and some nice cosmetics.
I had a hard time with this. I don't need anything except baby gifts. My parents wanted to get me stuff and the only stuff I could come up with was some perfume and the naked 3 and some new PJs to wear around the house after baby.
