She's into makeup and nail polish. We gave her nail polish last year. Sephora is about two hours away from us and she's not driving yet. I doubt her mom would be willing to drive her up there, but we're heading that way tomorrow so maybe I can pick something up for her while there.

We have to now give a gift to a teenage babysitter? WTF? I pay her well. She gets free reign of my kitchen and to order whatever she wants for dinner. No gift for her.

I'm not giving our sitters anything either. We pay well, our kids are relatively easy/well behaved for sitters, and they get to zone out in front of the tv after 8 pm. Sounds like plenty to me.

Eh. They're family friends. She always gets something for DS and does some freebie sitting when we're at their house visiting so it's NBD to get something for her.
I doubt we'd consider a gift if it were just the neighbor girl that we only see for sitting jobs.

Second the iTunes gift card. They can use it to buy music or apps for their phone. My neice is 14 and I gave her one along with a few other things (nail polish, a few shirts, and a few little jewelry things from the Icing).

I bought my 15 year old niece a Sephora brand palette with eye shadow, lip gloss, blush and bronzer. It's in a shiny little black box. It has a ton of eye shadow colors. It was only $22. It didn't come with brushes but I bought some ELF ones at Target. I'm trying to find a link, but I can't!

Make-up (or GC to get make-up), GC to a clothing store she likes. Does she have an iPhone? (Many of my HS students do). If so, maybe a cute iPhone cover in a design you think she'd like.

I'm doing something small. Probably $25 GC. She is paid well and eats our food.

She sounds like a delightful teenager!
I second PPs suggestions of gift cards. I used to love getting gift cards at that age, because I could shop for whatever I wanted.
