ugh. I'm lying on the couch feeling like I am about to throw up any second. Exact same feeling last night at the same time. I'll go ahead and say that this is preferable to "morning" sickness as it will make it much easier to make it through the workday, but it is not going to be a fun holiday season if I feel like puking every night from 7pm on!
First dr's appointment tomorrow morning. I told BF last week (on my birthday). He was so excited

I had evening sickness too. Here was what worked for me:
If you are up to it, I would just try to get my throwing up our of the way when I got him from work. Once I threw up, I almost always felt better until bed. It's gross but temporary.
I also took half a regular unisom and a whole B6 every night before bed. I did this from 5 weeks until 40 weeks with no adverse effects. I don't know of it was more placebo than anything, but this helped my nausea more than anything.
I was always most nauseous late in the evening, like when laying on the couch after dinner or right when I got in bed. Doing something a little active after dinner (like going for a short walk) helped, but this was back when it wasn't dark out by like 4PM. :/ Sorry you're feeling crappy!

I had it too. It's awful! If you continue to have it you might try to zofran. I was timid about trying it for various reasons, but I'm so glad I tried it. It worked well for me and kept me from throwing up every night. I just wish I would have started it before 11wks!

During 1st tri, I was nauseated all day, but it always got worse in the evenings. Now in the 3rd tri, the evening sickness is coming back. It's not as bad as before, but it still sucks.
