I can get people to give up a lot of info when I talk to them. I am extremely calm under pressure. Give me a bleeding child or a crisis and I get in my zone. I know a LOT of random stuff. It has become a joke with most people in my life. Like, "don't know the answer? Ask Katie!"
So...what do you do for a living? Hostage negotiator? Please say yes.

I can run races pretty fast without really training. I did my first half marathon while pregnant with a time of 1:54. I really slacked in my training and only did 8 miles once. I know that isn't a terrific time, but for not training and being pregnant, I call it a WIN.
I'm a very fast worker and have a really weird set of skills. I just made 2 renderings of proposed Brooklyn Bridge exhibits in 8 hours completely from scratch and they look pretty good.
thewop, you look great! What type of skincare products do you use?
LOL...lately a hodgepodge of products because I ran out of toner, and I'm running low on cleanser and moisturizer. When I'm fully stocked I use Bioelements. I buy the "Great Skin in a Box" from Amazon. I'm waiting until after Christmas to buy a new set (I might get it as a gift). It seems like a lot of $$ but I buy a kit only 2x a year. It lasts forever because a little goes a long way. I have been supplimenting my regular moisturizer with something heavier at night because it's been a really dry winter and my skin needs a little something extra (Avon's Nurtura).
For eye cream I LOVE Yes to Blueberries. I bought a thing of it a year ago and I'm just now running out. Great stuff.
For a scrub I use Boots No. 7 Beautiful Skin Purifying Exfoliator. I only use it once a week or so.
I need to find a cleanser for when I have a TON of make-up on. The Bioelements is awesome, but sometimes I just need to get like 2 layers off and I don't want to use my expensive stuff. A coworker recommended CeraVe. I might pick some up at Target tonight.
So...42 degrees. You don't wear more clothes for that? like one of those shortie wetsuits?
Or is it like running where once you get moving it's not so bad?
No wetsuit.
Honestly, it sucked, but it was so cool to be able to say I did it I didn't complain much. Getting in/getting my face in was the worst. Literally painful. Yes, after I got moving it was ok.

I can make stuff like this:
ETA: I drew it (using Illustrator), cut it out by hand with teeny scissors, and then put it on the shirt and stitched. I'm anal retentive about the stitches and I had to undo part of this one and redo it because the stitch was off a little.

So in that picture, my first thought was 1) she's a bad ass, then 2) you're looking down at your hands in despair thinking wtf did I just do without a wetsuit?!

FTFY. LOL
I'm most likely doing a longer-but-not-as-cold swim in February in the bay and every day I look at that registration and think "OMG. I am insane." Thank goodness the bay temps are usually in the 50's. 50's I can handle. 40's was no joke.

Wait, you HAND STITCHED THAT? OMG.
No way!! I use a sewing machine. But I start and stop way too much.
ktzmoh I am on Ravelry but not active as of late (my knitting has taken a back burner over the past couple years) but feel free to look me up/friend me. I am ajknits there
Me too - I was once super active and kept everything up to date. But I burned myself out doing a 52 in 52 challenge and then had Kate and then moved and then started a job and then bought a house and ... well... you know.
But now that the dust is settling I'm getting back in gear.
I come really close to this in that I have a great memory. It isn't quite as stellar as it was before my pregnancies (I really do believe the old wives tale that they steal your memory), but I am still the go to person many go to ask, "do you remember...." because I really usually do and if not, can figure it out after a few questions.
