I will be having two showers, one for each side of the family due to a 2 hour travel distance between them. The host of one shower mentioned having it the first week in April, which is only 5 weeks before my due date. I feel like this is kinda late, as I'd like to have some time to purchase whatever isn't bought off the registry, plus who knows if I'll end up going early or something.
So, how far along were you/will you be at your shower(s)?

I had mine at 30 and 33 weeks. Both felt like good timing. I probably wouldn't want to go much later than 34 weeks because you need time to organize, return stuff, purchase stuff, wash, etc. Plus, you just get a little more uncomfortable. Eta: I forgot another big reason- writing all those thank you notes takes a long time. I've written almost 50 thoughtful notes.
I'm no help, I had two (small) showers and they were both early (26 weeks and 28 weeks). That's because they were both out of state for us though, and in both cases we were going to be in the area anyway so that's what made most sense.
I had one at 31 weeks (OOT family shower, 2 hours away), one at 34 weeks that my BFF threw for family and friends in town, and a small work shower at 36 weeks.

I don't know when mine will be- my sister and DH's family think showers need to be a surprise. I wish I knew though, it makes it very difficult to plan my upcoming weekends.

Mine is at 34 weeks. We are under construction at our house (and will be until after the baby comes) so while there is a tiny bit of stuff I will need for the baby right away, the majority will need to be stored & we have zero storage at the moment, so later is better for me!
I was 26 weeks for a surprise shower with some girlfriends, but it was a joint shower with a girl 8 weeks ahead of me. My family showers will be at 29 and 34 weeks. I'm a planner so the 34 week one feels too late for me.

Mine are at 33 and 35 weeks. I would have preferred sooner but holidays don't make that easy. Plus our families don't understand the pregnant desire for planning way ahead of time, haha

Our friends are throwing us a co-ed shower around 34-35 weeks. My family has weird superstitions (we're not Jewish) and my Mom refuses to have my big family shower until after the baby is here which I'm not too thrilled about.
I had one at 20 weeks just for my parents and grandparents since they wanted to get us things while we happened to be in town. My friends just offered to throw us another one in a few weeks and Ill be around 33 weeks at that time.

The only one that has been planned is my out of state one (900 miles from home) and that is this Christmas, when we are there for the holidays. I'll be 21 weeks.
I HIGHLY doubt my mom will throw a shower so if a friend doesn't offer (and no one has), I guess I won't be having a local one.
