they are cute. you neeeeed them. and if you can't buy yourself a gift at christmas, then when can you? (guilty of buying myself stuff every year in december like I don't have a birthday or christmas to get new stuffs)
I'll spend anything. I say that, but the lower the $$$, the happier I will be. My main problem is I don't wear leather. The faux fur on the first pair actually gives me pause since there have been issues with faux fur many, many times being real fur.

I'd do it. Worst case scenario: they come, they're not as cute in person (and/or include real fur), you send them back. Best case scenario: YAY, new boots!
I have no idea how your style compares to my preferences, and I aimed for at least snow-friendly if not full on snow-boots since I wasnt' sure if you were looking more for cute as a standalone thing or cute and also snowy - but I like all of these:
I've gone back and forth (liking and disliking) the J-41s for a month now. So, I've decided they're not for me.
The bogs: You reminded me that I was strongly considering a pair yesterday. Then I forgot. I'm a bit of a space cadet. They're rain boots, but I can wear legwarmers with them. They also come in other colors. Yay or nay?
My sister has a pair that she uses as her farm boots, and of course she wears them elsewhere as well and she LOVES them.
They're indestructible and cute (in that rainboot way).
Are you more looking for winter boots that are also cute, or cute boots that can handle some snow?
If I needed boots I'd probably be buying the J 41's. I love them.
I do think the ones you posted first are not offensive or anything if you really love them. My original statement didn't take into account the non-leather restriction.
