hahaha, I am working from home today as is my husband and we measured and ordered too! We have this little problem with our make dog marking a bit in one corner of that room and the rug is old old old and it just doesn't clean out well. I think this will solve that cleanup issue too. Plus provide the warmth/cushion which is needed on what is essentially a basement floor. So thanks for the post, cause I would have never considered it and it is really the perfect solution for our space too!

I think I'm ordering some for a play area I want to set up at one end of the kitchen too, something like this didn't even occur to me!
such a great solution! I actually think I may order some for our playroom floor...
I just ordered! I'm really excited. If you use code save28, you get 28% off! Today is 25% off anyway, but in case you order later or just want that extra 3%. And it's free shipping either way I can't wait to get it!
Did you get your tiles? Ours arrived and they really are great for the playroom floor. I am pretty pleased. My daughter loves them. Thanks again for the post!
Would these be good for a basement floor/play area? It's a concrete floor.
I put them into our lower level playspace. There is an old (ugly) vinyl tile down over the concrete slab but otherwise the floor was very cold and not comfortable even with a rug on the floor. I bought these tiles- www.foamtiles.com/tiles/58-soft-tiles.html# and they really improve the comfort of the space. I didn't take it wall to wall, but just to fill the area between the larger toys (kitchen, storage thing, small sofa, doll house). My daughter loves it and I am happy with the improvement as well! we are not at all ready to put down a new floor in that level so this will fill the gap for us while she is still using the room for a play space.
