If its the same as the builder mirror it seems it would be fine. But I want to poke you for wanting to buy instead of DIY hah, seems so much easy to glue some moulding up than to take down and rehang another mirror
I think swapping out those tragic builder mirrors that are as a wide as the vanity is a great way to update a bathroom. I've done one of the three my house came with and have my sights on the other two this year.
I hung a plain oval mirror from BP in my powder room. It looks great.

operative word: lazy
lol.
DIYing I have to measure, cut spraypaint, poly, cut out holes for the little mirror holder clips, glue, realize I screwed it up then do it again.
Taking down and putting up is like, wham, bam, thank you ma'am and, scene!
Maybe. The last builder mirror I tried to take down (because Im lazy like that too) was liquid nailed to the wall, so it was a MAJOR headache not only getting it down but patching up the mess afterward. But if yours is just held by clips, no glue, should be easy.
As for your original question, if its just a few inches, and you center the mirror, no problem.
