We used three boards and connected/secured them with brackets. The boards are held together by the brackets and the feet. We aren't actually using it as a true bed frame, we already have the mattress frame and just placed the boards flush against the frame. Eventually we will probably turn it into an actual usable frame.
You can see the box spring now, so I think we will raise the legs a little so it does not show.
The headboard hangs on the wall and has been used with other fabric prior to this. I'm just going to change out the fabric to match the bed frame.
That looks great! I am in love with that Dwell print
Me too! I have wanted to use this fabric in every room of my house. I controlled myself though. I think having it on the bed will satisfy the desire to use it everywhere. Let's hope!
Wow. That looks great! You make it sound so simple
All I had to do was staple the batting and fabric to the boards, so it was super simple for me! Lol.
I explained to my husband what I wanted and he cut and sanded the wood and built the legs.
It really isn't that hard if you know how to use some power tools. I would imagine you can have home depot cut the wood to the measurements you need. H built the legs with extra wood, but I think HD or Lowes has legs that you can just screw on.
