I thought I had a good handle on what was going on, but now I'm just confused.
Also, why are the fairies back? Why did they have to add in yet one more confused story line? I really wish they could keep 2 solid story lines going instead of having 5 shallow storylines going.
I'm really enjoying the development of Pam and Jessica. That's about it.
I'm confused with the fairies because I forget what happened with them last season - I remember the beginning, I remember Eric killing Claudette, and I remember Andy with the girl in the meadow, and that's about it. So the re-introduction of that story line from almost nowhere is confusing me.
I also can't figure out where the Terry storyline is going and quite frankly it's annoying me.
I am loving Pam's development and Jessica is not annoying me as much as she should. I also think Christopher Meloni is fantastic and I love every scene with him. But there are huge other parts of the plot line that I'm just confused about especially in terms of how is it going to tie together - from the shifters being shot, to Lafayette's "powers," finding Russell Edgington, and so on and so forth. There is a LOT going on this season.
I remember feeling this way last season - that there was a lot going on - and thinking it would even out and the plots would all connect and then they never really did.
I want to know who offed the shifters. That makes no sense to me at all. I'm DYING at Arlene calling them Hilary and Barack! LMAO
The Authority Council is interesting. Can someone give me the deal on The Guardian's girlfriend? I'm totally missing something and I know she's the missing link. WTF does she want with Bill, Erik and Nora? Home girl is up to no good.
Ditto Pam and Jessica. I was already head over heels in love with Pam, but this season makes me love her even more. I found Tara to be slightly less annoying last night.
Alcide. Hellz Yeah. I could do bad things with him.
I agree that there is definitely more to Salome than what we know right now. I actually don't think she is the head of the Sanguinistas only bc right now I think it looks like that - she is sympathetic to Nora et al, it's clear she is hiding something, etc. I am thinking there is something else going on.
I loved that they made her biblical figure though.
I'm getting bored/annoyed with this show, but I've been watching it for so long that I can't just up and quit it.
I feel like the story is all over the fucking place and that they don't seem to know quite what to do with it; I just hope they get it back on the rails soon.
I have read many of the books, so I wonder if they are going to bring in the Fae/fairy war that was a big part of two of the books. I liked that we are back to them because there was so much of the series devoted that aspect of sookie that I was sad when Eric drained Claudette, as I assumed that was the last we were going to see of the Fairies.
Overall, I liked it! I think Tara is going to be a great vampire at some point. And I like Jessica, too.
I was annoyed at the Pam story line just because it pisses me off when it strays so much from the books (like in second season of GOT). That is not at all how Pam became a vampire in the book.
LOL, me too!! Also, for once I was not annoyed by Tara. I love that they are developing Pam more and her story line but I too am annoyed they are straying soo far from the books. I was thinking last night that they were going to introduce Claudine's brother but it didn't happen. I think they have to bring in the faerie story line to explain what happened to Sookie's parents but I felt like the whole "faerie brothel" was kind of weird.
See I don't even think of the show as it relates to the books anymore - it's strayed so much. I do wonder if they'll bring in a character like Niall but certainly so much else is different that it's hard to compare it to the books anymore in my opinion.

Yup! this is where I am at too. I like them both separately.

Yep. I am still watching because its better than nothing. Thats about it.
