We were all set to go with the 4 moms breeze pack and play bc we got sucked into the video in store. We liked how easy it looked to set up/travel with and that it had a bassinet part, but not all the extra crap. I finally read reviews today and everyone said it is nice and sturdy, but extremely heavy. www.buybuybaby.com/store/product/4moms-reg-Breeze-Playard/1040627618?categoryId=30509
Our main uses (we think) are to keep in it our room for the first few months for baby to sleep in so we don't have to keep going back and forth to her room across the house. And then afterwards, we want to be able to travel with it easily. We travel quite a bit and while I know we will be slowing down, we really want something that is easy to set up/take down and transport. I was also thinking the bassinet part could be used as a changer in our room for the first few months.
Honestly, I think most pack and plays are pretty heavy. I would be interested to know what their frame of reference is. I loved the first pack and play we had, but never really considered it easily portable. It was portable, but was a pain just like every other baby item.

The 4 moms one is more on par with regular pack and plays around 30lbs. The bjorn one is only 11lbs.
Seriously, I had two PNPs, one no frills version that cost $50 that I kept at my moms house and a fancier one with the bells and whistles that we traveled with. Both were Gracos, both were easy peasy to set up. What are you looking to get out of the PNP and how often will you use it would change my answer for which one to get. And no way did either of them weigh close to 30 pounds.
I had a graco dlx with newborn napper, and I loved it. I am getting another one very similar to it. We used it in our room for the first six months and then as a baby jail (lol) throughout the early toddler years. She never would sleep in it once she got bigger and we traveled, though we tried. She always ended up sleeping with us. I just checked and our graco was 31 pounds.
The bjorn that you linked does not look like it would suit your needs initially and seems really freaking expensive for what it is.

Holy crap those are expensive!
If you get one that comes with extra crap, you don't have to use it. Ours has the changing station, a little toy bar and a music player. We have the changing station set up along with the bassinet portion with the bars, but when we travel with it, we don't bring the changing table (or the bars for the bassinet once DD didn't need it anymore).

I have the Graco with the bassinet and the changing table. We plan to use it in out room for the baby to sleep in the first few months. I like that it has a place to store diapers and wipes and has the changing station for at night.
I like that it grows with the baby. It was fairly simple to put together and the main part popped open very easily. I'm not sure I would want to travel with it with the napper and changing area though. But, in all honesty, there are cheaper alternatives that we'll probably just buy a PnP for the grandparent's houses.
