XP - need help, please and thank you

I've been driving myself crazy for ages trying to figure out what shape the felt is before folding it. Maybe a semi circle? Can anyone figure it out? The winner gets a cute advent calendar for next year

It is a rectangle. Here is a tutorial on how to do them lined. You don't actually need to line them though if you are doing them with felt. Length needs to be twice the width.

Yup with laurental - it's a rectangle folded to make a pyramid. Like this without the zipper.

I thought these were the cutest things and just quickly made one to try it out BUT I am struggling for what I can use them for or if I gift them, what I can tell others to use them for. I saw some ideas online but am looking for more practical ideas.
