work for your " weekend" what would they be? Would you stay traditional with Saturday and Sunday or would you pick a set of weekdays? Keep in mind if you choose to work on Sunday you will make an extra 500.00 a month in Sunday pay.
Weekdays. I used to have a schedule like this and it was awesome. Nothing was ever crowded and it is super easy to run errands and schedule appointments.
I think Sundays are boring to be at home for whatever reason and would prefer to work on Sunday vs other days. I would like Fridays and Saturdays off ideally.
I worked retail for years and loved having Sunday/Monday off. It's great having Sunday off so that I could still go out on Saturday nights and or Sunday brunch with friends who worked M-F. But having a weekday off to run errands, go grocery shopping, etc is amazing as you don't have to deal with weekend crowds.

I love having a day off during the week to run errands when places aren't super busy. But it's also nice to have weekends off for social get togethers. Do the two days have to be consecutive? If so I guess I would pick Friday/Saturday..

That does sound nice; I was torn between choosing Sun/Mon or Fri/Sat. I guess either way would be fine with me.
If I could pick any two days, I'd be off on Monday and Thursday.
If they had to be back to back, I'd be off on Friday and Saturday.
Either way, I'd work Sunday for the extra $
That is interesting that you would pick non consecutive days off. That would be nice sometimes to just work a couple days and know you are getting a day off.

I think I'd like two days off mid-week. It would be great for scheduling appointments and stuff. But I'd want H to be on the same schedule, so we could do things together on our days off.
I would try to alternate every other week and week 1 I would have Tuesdays and Saturdays, week 2 I would have Fridays and Saturdays. Then back to week 1

Another vote for a Friday-Saturday weekend. Once you're able to run errands on a weekday, you'll never go back to weekends again. The grocery store takes half the time on a weekday, and there are a lot less stupid people to deal with.

I have a non traditional schedule so I do not have weekends off normally. I actually prefer Sunday and Monday or Thursday and Friday or Friday and Saturday.
I'd stick to traditional Sat/Sun off because church is Sunday, H works M-F AND because I already get every Friday off. There are some benefits to only working PT... less money yes, but 3 day weekends are amazing.
I think you picked good. Wednesday and Thursday off will get you rested in case you did want to do something on the weekends after work. WHen I worked the weekends and had Monday off by the time Friday night/Saturday night came around I was always so tired to do anything major.

I have never had Saturday/ Sunday off in my adult life and I am 32 years old. I did like rotating days off on a 4 on 2 off schedule but hated it on a 6 on 2 off schedule.
