I was fine all pregnancy, and hit around 35 weeks and now my feet are ballooning. I may be limited to my Uggs the rest of this pregnancy! I didn't realize how bad it has gotten until I was at work yesterday and went to change into my pumps. the left one was very snug, and I almost couldn't get the right one on at all! When I took them off, I had deep marks from my shoes
Luckily I can get away with pretty casual wear at work but on occasion I need to wear professional shoes. I'm due in about 3-4 weeks, what can I do?
Anyone else suddenly have fat feet? For some reason I never thought this would happen to me!

I do. They showed up about a week ago(29 weeks) out of no where. I didn't even know it until I took my shoes off and had lines in them.
I can still wear my normal shoes, I am just careful to put my feet up a little more during the day. I have a little stool thing under my desk and put my feet up when I think of it.
This just started happening to me. It has helped to put my feet up and drink a ton of water but I notice it mostly when I'm on my feet a lot the day before.
Do you have a blood pressure cuff? It's probably nothing, but it can be a sign of pre-e. It would be good to take your blood pressure just in case.
I had majorly swollen feet on the last day of my trip between all the activity and the travel. It went away within a day or so, so no big deal.. but sudden swelling is said to be no bueno.
I don't, but my bp has always been well within the normal range at my appointments. I have another appointment Monday so I will ask about this.
My feet are ballooning suddenly! I am now wearing Uggs most of the time, and I think they are actually helping with the swelling. My fingers are much stiffer lately too. Ugh!
Mine started like last week, even my uggs are tighter than usual and it is worse at the end of the day, but still bad in the morning. My BPs just started being borderline in the last two days, but I feel like that is more stress then pre-e. I am definitely watching closely though. A lot can change from day to day in pregnancy.

Ditto OPs - swelling started kicking in around 35 weeks. I get cankles, fat feet, and fat calves by the mid to end of the day. It's awful.
You only need to worry about swelling being a sign of pre-eclampsia if you wake up with swelling - it should go down while you sleep overnight. Of course, after a looooong day on my feet (e.g., Christmas parties) it took a couple days for my swelling to go down.
Besides swelling I'm more tired than I was first trimester. Like, seriously sleeping 9 hours and then napping 2-3 hours. And back pain is returning. I can't stand for 30 minutes without feeling lousy.

I had pretty bad swelling nearly the entire time, but it was worse toward the end. For the last month and a half I wore hard-soled slippers to work. At that point I didn't give a flying fuck - everyone could just deal.

I have been fine until this week (im 37 weeks) on Christmas i wore a pair of leather boots...in the morning they fit fine, i took them off to get comfy at sister in laws house...went to put then on to leave and they were sooooo tight i couldn't walk well in them! The next morning, they fit fine again.
It looks like i will be wearing uggs too, and ballet flats for the next few weeks.
