Which female character did they like best? Who was their favorite character overall?
I am asking because my daughter is obsessed with Anna, but the Disney Elsa dolls are sold out, which makes me think many kids like Elsa better. I think it is interesting and was just curious about what others were seeing.

I asked A why she likes Anna and she couldn't really articulate why. She makes her brother be Olaf. She tells me I can unfreeze the world and then bursts into song at least ten times a day. She doesn't seem to find Elsa's powers all that exciting.
I find how children play and what characters they choose to be fascinating.
My 4.5yo liked Anna better. She was in the movie more and was the sweeter more "girl next door" character. Plus Anna interacted with Olaf more who was everyone's favorite! Although at the parks she liked the Elsa dress better. Anna's dress is a little homely and plain in comparison!
I took my boys to see it but I don't think the female characters made much of an impression on them. I asked DS1 what he liked most about the movie and he said the preview for the Lego movie coming out soon
I think they thought it was a little too girly (which would explain why my mom and I liked it so much, lol). They did like the little snowman though.

My 5 year old liked Olaf, but complained there was too much singing. He has also mentioned the Lego movie preview several times. I hope it has no singing for his sake.
