Long story short. My Husband is a hoarder of little hotel shampoo bottles. Whenever he is away, he will collect those beasts so that our "guests" (Like we ever get those) will have a worry free time at our house. Lately, because I want the millions of nasty little bottles gone and I feel bad for wasting them, I've been using them. And holly crap are they killing the beautiful hair I once had. Now it is dull and frizzy. Ugh.
What would help it?
Go to a salon for a deep conditioning treatment? Or a hot oil treatment at home? Shave and start over?
Stop using them! I coat my hair in coconut oil. While its sitting in there, I rub my whole body in coconut oil. Rinse with hot water. Your hair will be funky for the next day but it will fix itself the next day when you shampoo.

Seriously, once I figured it out, I went back to my normal routine. But I think I may have done serious damage.
I have grape seed oil that I use for facial moisturizer, would this do the same thing?

Use your regular shampoo, put it in your hair while its dry and "suds up" then get in the shower and continue to suds up and rinse. It strips your hair of any of the extra oils and such.
Use olive oil. I used it for Sophia's cradle cap and it moisturized her scalp nicely.
You should also wash/rinse your hair with warm not HOT water and blot/squeeze it dry; don't twist it or rub it with a towel...doing that will make it frizzy.

My problem is that it is suuuuper dry because of these products. I would love to have oil in my hair.

Meh it will strip any of the yuck left by the bad shampoos too. Also what I have done before is wash my hair and rinse put my conditioner in and braid my hair or put it in a bun. I wait a few hours and then go rinse it out. That helps quit a bit.

I'm no help for what to do, my hair needs some help. But, for your DH's "collection"--you can donate them to homeless shelters. They give their clients travel size toiletries.
Comb in some olive oil and leave it overnight. Wash in the morning with a gentle shampoo. I used to do this every couple of weeks when I was swimming everyday.
