If so, how far along were you when you had your first appointment? I just had my 3rd beta, all is looking pretty good...I am in shock, been trying for 5 yrs. I have to call and make an appointment, just wondering when they will prob see me. Thanks & best wishes!

I am high risk and was first seen at six weeks with the high risk ob at my hospital then at seven weeks I saw the MFM from the larger hospital. I see both each month now until we finalize how and where I will deliver. Congratulations!
I am high risk and was working with a doctor to get pregnant so I have been seeing someone all along. I graduated from the first doctor (to help get pregnant) to a traditional ob-gyn at 7 weeks and actually saw the ob-gyn at 9 weeks.
I'm high-risk also. I saw the MFM at 4 wks, but that was just a coincedence. It was supposed to be a TTC appointment but turned into a first appointment. My first real appointment with my regular OB was at about 6 wks. I see him pretty frequently.
I was high risk for ectopic - had a scan at 5w5d. They didn't bother with betas since I was pain-free and no bleeding, but I am not in the US so I'm probably not the best example.
I was also high risk because of a previous ectopic. I was seen at 4 weeks but there was nothing to see on an U/S. I had three rounds of betas after that appt. before going back today at 5 weeks and change to do another u/s. My next appointment is January 14 at 7 weeks.
