Aw, Juno. It sounds like you have a lot going on. I'm sorry about your friend :/ there is a lot of depression and mental issues in my family. I often wonder how I managed to escape it, but figure there's still time...lol. Several times I have thrown my hands in the air and given up bc there's not much I can do. It stinks.
I hear you on the husband thing. Mine travels a lot. He's been home for about 2 months without a trip, but he leaves soon for some long ones and I hate it. The anxiety of him leaving and just us missing him is tough. I m sorry you are going through all f this without him. Does he travel a lot?

I'm sorry. I have a dentist appointment next week and I'm concerned about what they're going to say, so I hear you on that. Does your dentist do happy gas? Is that an option? I find it does MUCH better at relieving my anxiety than pills. Like WHOA, what a difference.
ETA b/c I posted too soon: I agree with the others re: protecting yourself first. But it's hard to even consider turning away from a friend in need, let alone distancing yourself from it. Big hugs to you.
