I bought this dress last week to wear to R's work banquet next week:
(I know, it looks fugly in this photo ... I SWEAR it looks good on, though)
Anyhow, I'm thinking of wearing it with black tights and flats (if you remember, it's a 3-hour standing up party). Do I need jewelry with it? What should I do with my hair? Halp the halpless.
I'd go simple with the jewelry- maybe a fun statement ring and either hoopy earrings or an organic type bracelet. If you have longer hair, I'd do loose hippie waves or a very unstructured updo.

I'd probably do tights and a bootie for shoes.
This.
I do like the idea of tights and a bootie, but sometimes tights can just look too heavy with a dress like that.

I am pretty sure I'm set to wear flats with the dress - I just can't stomach the idea of heels for a standing-up party for three hours. I've got a bad case of the olds over here. LOL
I like the idea of a chunky bracelet - I'd gotten stuck on necklaces, but hadn't even CONSIDERED a bracelet. I think I may be hopeless. I'll have to hit up the mall this weekend and see what I can find.
