My son is 2 years 1 month, and is 75% for height (just under 3 feet tall) and 50% for weight (30 lbs). He wears 2T currently and Children's Place jeans are the only ones that don't fall off his butt.
But he has plenty of clothes in his current size, so I've been buying the next size up, so we'll have it when he grows into it.
This is when I always stock up on their 3 in 1 jackets. They're great coats if you're looking for a winter jacket. My kids have worn them for years.
How is the sizing?
X will be one in July and I was thinking of getting the 18-24 month for next winter. He'll probably swim in it though, but I don't want to get the 12-18 and deal with him outgrowing it before the winter is over. (He's 5.5 months now and in 6-9 months clothing).
My kids are on the smaller size but my 5 year old is wearing (with room to grow) a 5/6 and my 8 year old is also wearing a 5/6 (this is her 2nd year wearing it and will probably need a larger size for next year - she's pretty small though).
So DD will be 2 next November what size coat would I buy her? We will need it from Nov-Feb/March. We don't own anything from CP so I have no idea how it fits and what is the difference between 24 months and 2T?
I bought a lot at a similar sale last week, it was great! Got 4 pairs of cargo pants, 6 pairs of socks, and 2 pairs of sunglasses for $45. I've never bought shirts from them, only pants. I find their pants run a little big. DS is 22 months old and outgrew the rest of his 18-24m pants several weeks ago, but his CP cargos are just now starting to get a little tight. So I moved up to 2T (ALL the rest of his clothes are already 2T).
