I'm 25 weeks. Is it possible for the baby to be positioned close enough to my bladder to be kicking it? On my drive to work I kept feeling "thumps" that corresponded with the feeling of needing to pee. It was a bit bizarre and humorous as I was hoping not to pee my pants!

Yes! When I have to pee I assume my bladder is much bigger? I get these throbs that make me have to pee that feel like kicks or something. So much more pronounced when I have to pee.
Yep, especially if your baby is breech (feet down) or transverse (sideways). Though I guess you could just as easily get a punch to the bladder :-)
P.S. my midwife tells me that breech and transverse are totally not a concern yet, because baby still has plenty of room to move around and time to figure out which way he needs to be…so don't freak out if he's breech or transverse at this point :-)

She was breech at the u/s back at 19 weeks but my doctor said at my appointment on Monday not to worry about it. It actually gives me a better idea of how she is positioned in there since I really had no clue! But with these kicks, I know she has been sitting or standing right on my bladder for two days! She is so grounded!
I get the "throbs" of having to pee too. Mine is definitely head down so I'm assuming they're punches to the bladder, or her squirming in a way that squeezes my bladder for second.

Yea, it's not a fun feeling. My little guy has been staying head down, and an ultrasound tech showed me how he hits my bladder with the back of his head if he tilts it a certain way. When it's full... he hits it more often :-)
