I'm planning to head to Vienna, Austria to visit my sister who is living there in the next month or two. It looks like I have a couple of options for layover - Dulles, O'Hare, JFK (if I want a 2 stop layover) and possibly Montreal on the way back. Any of these I should avoid? Especially for an international flight. Any other places that would be better?
also, how long should I give myself for a layover for international? I'll be about 25 weeks pregnant so I want to avoid having to run if at all possible.

Dulles used to be my home airport. Of the ones you've listed, that would be my preference. Though I've never been through Montreal. I think the longest it ever took me to clear customs at Dulles was an hour. I typically give myself ~2 hours or more when I have an international layover to make sure I have time to clear customs and check back in to the domestic terminal with no issues.
I second the previous poster. Dulles is also my home airport so I've never had to connect through it. I do think it is generally a good airport though, especially now that they upgraded the internal airport shuttles. It's a lot nicer than it used to be. The options for dining and entertainment are also quite decent if you end up with extra time.

I would want a domestic connection, so that cuts out Montreal, and I never ever chose to have 2 stops when I can have 1, so that cuts out JFK. Both O'Hare and Dulles are fine, although O'Hare is probably a bit better with snow which means less chance of being delayed, so I'd pick primarily based on flight schedules and price with O'Hare getting the edge if schedule and price are equal.
what airline are you flying? BA to JFK is awesome because it has its own customs vs flying another airline that shares with the rest.
Also time of year matters. I think JFK is the best in the winter followed by Chicago. Dallas seems logical because they don't get bad weather but when they get bad weather they shut down for days vs hours.
