We have a dual sided organic crib/toddler mattress. It was a nice mattress for a great deal at Costco online, but if it had been way more expensive, I don't know if I would have bought an organic one. 2.5 years and we've been happy with it.
An organic mattress was very important to us. DS was going to spend so much time sleeping on it, we thought it was important. We bought a naturepedic organic crib mattress. It's the 150 coil one I think, we didn't spring (haha) for the 250 coil one. It's great. DS seems very comfortable. Our crib converts to a toddler bed, so we plan on getting several more years out of it.

We got the same one.
This is the one I'm looking at. An acquaintance is selling one (for $50!) or we could buy one new. We didn't have organic the first time, but I think I really want to this time around.
We have one. I forget the exact one though, it came from BRU and I think it was like 150 bucks. My mom bought it along with the crib. It's super nice and my baby sleeps awesome in her crib.

This exactly, except it's almost 5 years old and on its second baby.
We bought a Savvy Rest Crib mattress and then a Savvy Rest XL twin when DD1 was ready to size up. It was expensive but we plan on the XL twin being the only mattress we buy for each child while they live at home. DD2 is now on the crib mattress. DD1s bed is so comfortable we plan on buying the same in queen size for ourselves once we save up for it.
