Yesterday I washed all of the clothes we got from the shower, and I'm struggling with how to organize it. Right now I have it organized more or less by size (NB and 0-3 in one drawer, 6-12 in another drawer) with sleepers/swaddlers in another drawer, towels and blankets down below, socks separately, etc.
We only have one (albeit large-ish) dresser, the top of which will be our changing table (with some plastic drawers and canvas baskets for organization)….no place to hang stuff.
For the clothes, I have the drawers separated into stacks of onesies, PJs, pants, and tops…not in any kind of "outfits" (although some of them are meant to go together). Is there a better way to do this?
P.S. I can't believe I'm already washing and organizing baby clothes!!!
I had onsies hung in the closet by size. Socks, hats and burp clothes in the top dresser drawer. Pants in the second dresser drawer and pajamas in the bottom.
Towels and blankets were in the hall linen closet.
That's basically what I did (organize by size), though I tried to keep some outfits together. Sizes run the gamut. One store's 0-3 is another store's 3-6. I figure I would figure it out as I go (trial and error). I think I have too many clothes, but it's better than having too few.

I didn't have a lot of space, so I kept the 6-12 months stuff in a tub in the basement. I would try to find space for a small basket to put clothes the baby outgrows. It was a lot easier for me to throw things in there that started getting a little too small than trying to go through everything at once.
