The kicks eventually slow down a little, but jabs and rolling get more pronounced along with the occasional really hard kick. It all wakes me up, and I'm normally a heavy sleeper. I haven't slept well since about 30 weeks, and figure I won't for a long time now!

Yes, most mornings she is in kick boxing class, as I like to call it. This morning was especially active. It felt like she was doing flips in there. For the most part, she is only that active in the early morning and at night when I go to bed. I think it's because I'm laying on my side.
It doesn't wake me up, but if I wake up the kicks can make it hard to fall back asleep:-)
This is me too. Sometimes I wake up at night to pee and when I lie back down after, it's like she's thrilled with the extra space just I've given her and must have a dance party to celebrate.
The baby doesn't necessarily wake me up, but is much more active when I'm laying down or sleeping. During the day when I'm teaching (lots of standing and walking around as you know ) I don't notice movement as much. It makes sense though that you'll feel more when you're at rest because baby isn't being rocked or soothed by your movements. I also noticed feeling more movement/constant movement as I've progressed further along.

This is what happens to me. I wake up in the middle of the night to pee and when I lay back down he decides it's time to practice his kickboxing.
He doesn't kick much when I'm sleeping, but he's going crazy right now because I just drank a little OJ.
I do wake up a billion times to go pee though and my hips are killing me these days. They're already hurting and I haven't even fallen asleep yet, so I don't anticipate a good nights sleep.
